WHAT IS “INTENTIONAL HIRING”?
First, let’s define what it is not; intentional hiring is not “at-risk” hiring. Our candidates receive robust training that includes professional and personal development. Many come from difficult backgrounds and have found themselves disenfranchised. By choosing this program, all are determined to make a better life for themselves and their families. Intentional hiring is choosing to hire someone because of their story, not in spite of it.

WHY IS CORE VENTURE’S DOING THIS?
Core Ventures is a full-service recruiting firm that works across all industries. During the course of an engagement with a non-profit partner, we saw firsthand the impact of their job training program in the community. As we considered ways to propel their mission even further, we realized the dynamic possibility of combining our business relationships with their candidate pipelines. As a result, Forge was born.
We love small businesses that create big change through intentional hiring. Good jobs produce a redemptive ripple effect on individuals, families, and communities at large. By bringing together non-profits with training infrastructure and local businesses with staffing needs, we can multiply that redemptive impact in powerful ways.
